Developing a new progressive (distributed) ray tracer in Fragmentarium to better capture soft lighting phenomena (depth-of-field, ambient occlusion, soft shadows, HDR).
The fractal system is a Pseudo-Kleinian DE by Knighty (originating from Theli-at).
Is this new-in-progress version on github ?
I’m using the git version on my linux (and release version on my windows) and i don’t see anything related to DOF in the git version.
Hi, it should be. Try using the “Soft-raytracer” instead of the “DE-raytracer”. There should also be an experimental “PseudoKleinianProgressive-DOF.frag” you can try. Let me know if you succed in using it!
